What Elle Macpherson Does to Stay in Shape

Feb. 22, 2017

She's living up to her nickname 'the Body'

When your nickname is “The Body,” being in shape is a big part of your life. So it’s no surprise that Elle Macpherson co-founded WelleCo, a luxury wellness brand of nutritional powders, sleep-enhancing tea, and more. The Australian-born, Miami-based supermodel-turned-entrepreneur has some basic rules for staying fit and finding balance, but she makes sure to change things up. “It’s important that I don’t get into a rut,” Macpherson says.

The Ranch in Malibu. “I keep thinking, ‘When can I go back?’ Fourteen miles of hiking a day, incredible vegan food, and great people.”

SKIN-CARE SMARTS

At 52, I don’t wear a lot of makeup unless I’m in front of the camera. That’s why having good skin is so important,” says Macpherson. She’s a fan of products from Natura Bissé, Dr. Brandt, and Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh, her favorite dermatologist.

WORKOUT ROUTINE

“I put an hour aside every day to do some sort of physical exercise.” Her current obsession? Boxing, but she also loves to water-ski, paddle-board, hike, and swim laps.
